It’s pretty easy to save on all your Amazon purchases. Here’s a few options for you:
#1: Use the Jetblue link. Amazon will give you 3 TrueBlue points per dollar you spend, as long as you click through this link first: https://trueblue.jetblue.com/web/trueblue/amazon
The value of TrueBlue points is variable, but they should be worth at least 1 cent each when you book a flight.
Savings = 3%+
#2: The Chase Amazon Prime card offers 5% back on Amazon all year long and has no annual fee (look for a signup bonus of $80 — it’s the best one). Savings: 5% + 3% from Jetblue = 8%!
#3: The Discover IT card has 5% rotating categories and Amazon is typically a 5% earn category for 3-6 months out of the year. (September-December is always Amazon). For the first year you have the card, Discover doubles all your cash back. That means you can earn 5% back + 5% doubling + 3% jetblue on your Amazon purchases, but only up to $1500 in spend and only in Q4. 13% back for Christmas? Yes please.
#4: You can occasionally earn higher cash back amounts using a different shopping portal. Topcashback offers 6% back on Home Improvement, Shoes, and Amazon Video, but nothing on other categories. Jetblue always pays out 3 miles/dollar, which is why it’s the best choice for most of your amazon purchases.
So yeah. You can get at least 8% of everything on Amazon. Good to know, right?
