If you have money sitting around (yeah. I mean you Harisson.), you should probably put it in a ROTH IRA. Just sayin’.
Roth IRA funds are crazy awesome. Any investment returns are completely tax shielded and you can withdraw the cash you’ve contributed fee-free at any time. There is no good excuse for you not to have one. (If you make above the income limit, you can convert into a backdoor roth via a nondeductible IRA. Seriously. No excuses.).
You can contribute up to $5500 to a 2016 IRA until April 18th this year (unless you’re old. Then it’s $6500). Do it now.
